About Us

Oval racing has been a popular motorsport discipline in the UK since the mid-20th century, with a variety of formulas and classes evolving over the years. Since 1954, several different types of oval racing have emerged, catering to various types of vehicles and levels of competition. Here are some of the key formulas that have been prominent in UK oval racing:

BriSCA F1 Stock Cars: The British Stock Car Association (BriSCA) organizes the F1 Stock Cars, which are powerful, purpose-built machines featuring V8 engines. The cars have a distinctive appearance with large aerofoils, and contact is an integral part of the racing.

BriSCA F2 Stock Cars: Similar to F1 but with smaller, more affordable cars, often using 2.0L engines. This formula has a large following and is considered a stepping stone to F1 racing.

BriSCA V8 Stock Cars: An intermediate formula that sits between F1 and F2, V8 Stock Cars are popular for their power and affordability.

Ministox

This is a junior racing formula designed for younger drivers (typically aged 11-16). The cars are smaller versions of stock cars and provide an entry point into oval racing.

National Hot Rods
A premier non-contact formula that features highly tuned, lightweight cars. National Hot Rod racing is known for its speed and precision, and it attracts some of the best drivers in the sport.

Bangers:
